Hello everyone. I made a post about two months ago sharing my library index (646GB at the time). I was working with 400GB of space back then so I went with a request format so people could comment and request titles on my list. However, I have since exceeded that storage space limit through the sheer number of requests I've been getting so I decided to purchase more space to accommodate everyone's needs. As a result, I now have enough space to upload my entire library which is what I have done. Please enjoy!

*This keeps coming up on my last post, so I will reiterate it here:
This is not a request post. I'm sharing what I have in my library. Please do not request titles that aren't listed below. Thank you. :)
If there's no quality specified, it's FLAC at 16bit / 44.1 or 48 kHz
[320] MP3 at 320kbps, when this number is 3 digits and not 16/24 it is always MP3 with the number indicating kbps
[24] FLAC at 24 bit, if the sampling rate is higher than 44.1/48kHz it will be specified
[MQA] will be specified after bit-rate
Discographies are studio albums mostly, some include EPs/Mixtapes/Live albums as well
All albums listed are complete, unless otherwise noted.
If there are multiple formats available within an album, they will be in separate sub folders.
Occasionally there will be albums with mixed formats, which will be noted.
There's a small percentage of titles that are labeled in FLAC but are actually upsampled MP3. Unfortunately I'm not quite sure which ones they are. I'd estimate this to be less than 3% of the collection.
Some video content are also included with certain titles.
I think that would be all for now. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions below.

submitted by In this section we’ll discuss the mechanics and gameplay of the various factions. This is intended to be a more high concept discussion, and not going into nitty-gritty tactics. I will briefly discuss their playstyle, their strengths, and their weaknesses. I will say that every faction is quite playable, and there are none that I would say flatly will lose outright. I will, however, rate a faction on ease of play at the end of their sections. A rating of 1 means the faction is going to be easier to learn to play, with simpler mechanics, while a rating of 5 means they will take a lot more work to play.
Note: I am not saying that the factions that are easier to play are “easy” to play, just that they tend to follow the rules of AoS more closely and tend to have fewer special rules to keep track of. This also doesn’t denote a faction as being more or less powerful.
Cities of Sigmar: Combined arms gameplay mixed with lots of firepower and magical support.
Each Cities of Sigmar army is going to be very different because they have a very wide variety of units in their faction, and access to all of Stormcast, as well as Sylvaneth, Kharadron and Daughters in the specific cities. Because of this it’s hard to say exactly how the faction will play, but a few things will be common. You will typically have a general of a race you want to focus on to unlock better units as battleline, you’ll then run the units that general buffs. If you have a general with fewer wounds, you’ll want a unit of 20 lads to keep him safe, and another hero to explain plans to him, giving you more resources to do more work on the table top. You’ll also typically want to run a wizard or two, and some endless spells. You turn them up to 11, making them crazy powerful. From there the army is “Run stuff that is good, and heroes that buff the good thing.” The place they shine is the fact that every unit in the faction is solid, and you have a tool for every job. The place they suffer is the fact that because every unit has a job, if you’re not doing that job you’re a little less powerful for your points. In addition outside of teleporting units and coming in from reserve, the army suffers from a lack of power projection, they can’t get units where they need to be very quickly. If you play into your strengths and build a good toolbox, you’re going to show people why they’re called the Seeds of Hope.
Challenge Rating: 2. The army doesn’t really break many of the core rules of the game, but they’re a little more complex because they have such a density of units to learn the special rules of.
Daughters of Khaine: Synergy units that buff other units into blenders.
These ladies are a little on the fragile side on the table, and have a mechanic that makes them better as time goes on, which is a rough combination. What this tends to mean is that you lose power over time because your models are dying, and the buffs you get for the turn don’t really help solve that problem. They are glass hammers, they want to hit something as hard as possible, and will probably break doing it. That said, the synergy buffs in this faction can actually make your ladies fairly durable, able to stand up to a lot more punishment than you’d expect. Other buffs will make your units explode any unit they get into combat with. Weakness in the faction is a lack of staying power, and a heavy focus on support characters that can be fairly easily removed with focused firepower. You need to screen them well, and keep them out of line of sight, or they’re going to be on the bad end of a bullet. This is made easier by the fact that many of your support effects have a solid range, and many of your units are either small in number, or on small bases, making them easier to keep in range. Also your prayers and spells tend to be easier to cast, so that’s helpful, and removing Morathi from the table is a chore.
Challenge Rating: 3. They follow a lot of the core mechanics of the game, but with so many priests who know so many prayers, and wizards knowing so many spells, and with the army’s core rules updating every turn, they’re going to take more work to understand.
Fyreslayers: Immovable objects and grinders.
This faction is probably the hardest in the game to remove models for. Every model has more than 1 wound, and often a decent save with ways to improve it. Like most AoS factions you’re going to want your support heroes in place, but unlike others they make units harder to kill, not more deadly. Every unit in the faction is a swiss army knife, able to fill multiple roles, which is good because they don’t have a lot of options. Once they are in position, with their defensive buffs in place, they will take a charge from pretty much anything on the table, live through it (often getting to fight before it in one subfaction) and then fight a 2nd time to finish it off. They have a system where every battle round you get to pick one buff for your entire army, which is nice because they all shore up a weakness of the army in some way. The downside is that when you don’t have that buff active, you suffer from that weakness. The army suffers from power projection. They are very slow, and have only a few ways to improve that in faction, one of which lasts for a single turn, and the other is a once per game teleport deployment. In addition their units are expensive, and want to be in large blocks, which means you have an even harder time projecting power on missions with a lot of objectives. That said, if you can get them into their position, and learn what objectives you can give up and what you need to keep, you will do very well with this wall of angry flesh.
Challenge Rating: 3. You have a lot of prayers that you need to keep track of, and very tight positioning requirements, as well as keeping track of what rune is active. You also have units that have once per game effects to remember. Because of the lower model count you’re going to feel the few losses you have very heavily.
Idoneth Deepkin: Speed kings, with high impact cavalry and recurring infantry.
Idoneth Deepkin has some very powerful tricks up their sleeve, but suffer from every trick being telegraphed. Their main mechanic is the fact that they are summoning an ocean around you, which gives them defensive buffs, movement buffs, and a coveted fight first army wide buff. The problem is these are all for a single turn, and are very telegraphed, your opponent will always know which tide is in effect, and which one is coming up. On your high tide turn you are able to dive headlong into an army, unafraid, and kill before they get to go against you, which rocks. You also have some of the fastest models in the game, in your cavalry, which also happen to do a lot of damage in one version, and are really hard to kill in the other. It’s very common to see players running nothing but the eels, but the rest of the army is solid as well. Your biggest issue is the fact you have very little offensive buffs in faction, and one of them requires it to be the turn you’re going to kill everyone anyway. You also possess a unique screening mechanic, which lets your somewhat squishy character be very safe from ranged fire, as long as they’re not the closest models. Adding to their already great speed, they have an option to outflank some units, and the model that allows that also grants a bonus to charges, meaning you get into combat fairly easily. Downside comes from the fact that your big tricks can be played around. They can zone out your outflanking, screen your charges, and avoid you on your big water turn. In addition your infantry are solid, but die like a gerbil in a speed bag, and the recursion mechanic you have is too weak to really support them coming back over and over again. If you can find a way to land that big haymaker, you’re going to make your opponent feel like a fish out of water.
Challenge Rating: 4. This is a harder faction to really get going with. They have a very powerful trick, but you need to apply it correctly or you’re lost. This is a faction for someone who is willing to put in the time and really learn what they can hit, and what needs to be avoided. You also have some once per game abilities, and some really weird range restrictions on your abilities, which is harder to play around.
Kharadron Overlords: Big guns never tire.
Kharadron Overlords are a faction that brings a gun to a knife fight, and a minigun to a gunfight. Every model in faction has some form of ranged weapon, and they tend to open up with both barrels. They are odd in that they are very fast and fairly fragile, despite being duradin. Their major draw is the ability to position their units using their airships, unload an abusive amount of firepower, and then if they survive, leave again to reposition. The problem with this is the skyships are expensive, meaning that you’re typically going to have fewer bullets than your opponent has bodies. In addition the weapons you can equip your skyships with tend to fill a single role, meaning that if you don’t diversify you’re going to have some troubles. Your faction’s core mechanic is that every unit can be overpowered once per game, and only one unit can use that overpoweredness per phase. What this means is that you need to know what unit is going to do the most damage in each phase, and make sure you’re spending your time wisely. They tend to have a problem in that many of your weapons are short enough range that when you arrive from nowhere, you’re out of range to shoot, so watch for that. Your melee units are aggressive, damaging, and somewhat squishy, so they too should be used to just deliver a killing blow. The army struggles with controlling objectives, as they tend to have a smaller model count, but they are amazing on missions where there are few objectives, or only a few are important at a time, or where they’re very spread out and hard to cover. Leverage your great speed and devastating firepower, and you’re going to teach people why they should stick to the Code.
Challenge Rating: 4. You have a lot of once per game abilities, you violante several of the core rules of the game, you have to know how garrisoning works, and you need to be really able to figure out exactly how much firepower you need to put something down. If you don’t, you’re in a situation where you’re left out in the cold.
Lumineth Realm-Lords: Unbreakable Castle with Unstoppable Magics
The Realm-Lords have access to functionally everything you could want in the game, with only a handful of units. Your army is almost entirely casters, meaning that you have more spells than your opponent can possibly try to stop. You also have some of the best spell lores in any faction, with spells that can simply make your opponent unable to really play the game. Your units are deceptively hard to shift once in position, but fairly slow to get there, which is odd for an aelf. Every unit excels at a single task, but tend to be good at several, so your limited roster doesn’t really harm you. Your characters tend to be on the squishier side, so if you aren’t careful and don’t use your protective buffs, you’re going to have some trouble keeping them alive. Teclis has a very unique set of rules for casting and unbinding, meaning he doesn’t really care about the normal rules of the game, and just having him can lead to magical supremacy, only bolstered by the rest of your army being wizards. Position your army well, set up the ancient rituals and runes, debuff your opponent from being able to play the game, and remove all his support pieces. After all, you’ve got some realms to save, the right way this time.
Challenge Rating: 5. This faction has more rules in it’s 10 warscrolls than most do in their entire factions. Every unit has a once per game cheat, and has a spell to cast, and a mountain of modifiers to keep track of. You also suffer from being insanely slow and defensive, meaning that you’re always playing your opponents game, and you’re having to react to their plans. You also violate a lot of the core rules of the game, so you need to keep track of those, especially if this is a second faction.
Seraphon: Teleporting space magic, or immoveable tide
This faction gets to put on two very different hats, so depending on which it’s wearing will do very different jobs. The first allows you to have your godlike frog wizard sit in the back and think really hard about magic, and it allows him to summon additional lizards to help you win the war. You lizards are also braver, meaning fewer of them run when they eventually die, and they are able to teleport across space and time, because AoS is awesome. They appear unexpectedly, and can unload crazy firepower and really strong melee, sometimes even on the same unit! Your second option is a much more blunt approach. Your lizards are better than they should be for their points, and they reduce the damage of weapons coming at them slightly, so less of them die horribly to big guns. In this subfaction you’ll typically see the giant monsters that are intended to wander into a unit and eat half of it, before screaming so loud that enemies fall over and die, because AoS is awesome. You also will tend to have a lot more large blocks of units in this version, meaning you’ll have a lot of board presence, even if you lack some of the power projection. The weakness of both of these factions is the same, your units are all on the edge of being really good, but they’re costed in a way that makes it hard to run as many as you’d like, and that is because you have some very powerful offensive buffs in faction that make these models insane. The downside is your support elements are not the hardest things in the game to remove, and without them you become pillowfisted. Your other big mechanic is that if you take endless spells you can pay slightly more for them to make it so only you can control them. This is super useful, and can really help with your board controlling. If you pick the faction that matches your style of play, and really lean into its wheelhouse, you’re going to be able to take table after table for the Great Plan.
Challenge Rating: 2. This faction tends to follow the core rules of the game closely, and most units are fairly simple and fill a single role. They have a lot of command abilities to keep track of, and many spells to cast, so keep an eye on that, but typically you’re going to be positioning strong units where they need to be, and then rolling the dice your warscrolls tell you too. In the Starborne subfaction they’re a little more complicated, so probably closer to a 3, but it’s still fairly simple.
Stormcast Eternals: Positioning, firepower, and a tool for every job.
Stormcast have the advantage of having a very large toolbox, and every tool is fairly good at its job. The problem is no tool is amazing at its job, and is often not great at other jobs. Your faction’s special ability lets you set units aside and have them arrive on bolts of lightning later in the game. When they do this and make it into combat, opponents have reduced bravery that turn, which is kinda cool, but doesn’t come up often. It’s mostly just to allow you to place your important unit into position to do the thing it wants to do. This means they’re very strong on missions with a lot of objectives to control and board to cover. Typically you will see them field large blocks of units that are hard to shift, and tend to do some solid damage themselves, that then hold back the tide of darkness long enough for the rest of the army to fill it with so many arrows, bullets, bolt, and lightning that it wishes it wasn’t around any more. You’ll typically pick some support characters you like, and then add the units they buff, and suddenly you have an army ready to play. Stormcast are durable, with solid armor and at least 2 wounds across the board, meaning they’re forgiving for a newer player. That said, their strength is they are perfectly round, like a sphere. Because every unit is only “good” at it’s role, they’re only ever “bad” at other roles, not terrible. What that means is if your opponent is slow, be fast. If your opponent hits really hard, play tanky or avoid them. If they have no ranged, shoot and stall, etc. You do lack some measure of magical control, however, as your best wizard only gets to cast 1 spell, and it’s not at any bonuses. So watch out for that. If you can lean into your strong positioning power, and play to your opponent’s weakness, you’ll find out why the Stormcast are on the cover of all the books.
Challenge Rating: 1. They’re designed to be fairly simple to play, with very few interactions on their cards, and almost no command abilities to keep track of. You have several spells to cast, but only if you take the wizard units, and you have some strong prayers, but only if you take the few priests. You have a very strong positioning game, and your units are cheap enough that you can afford to make mistakes and keep playing.
Sylvaneth: Table control, zoning, and powerful combat
The treefolk are in an interesting place, in that they’re a faction that needs a lot of terrain to play, but they get to bring a lot of terrain with them! Many of their units have a special rule that helps them when there’s a grove of trees they can hide in, and they can use those groves to teleport across vast distances, into other trees. Because of this they’re able to place units where they’re needed, and take objectives with little issue. The downside is that this trick can be shut down by players keeping units in or near the trees, which means your big haymaker can be seen coming from a mile away. Your units are all aggressively okay. No one model jumps off the page as being insanely powerful for their cost, but they all have a place in the grand scheme of victory. Your large monsters are not only good in combat, but also make your opponent go last, which is pretty great. One is also a wizard and has a strong support ability, which is also pretty great. Your lore of magic is fairly strong, and allows you to summon a grove of trees onto the table, to help control the board by giving you more deployment options, and also blocking line of sight, which is fairly rare in this game. Your major weakness is your units are either slow, or squishy, or both. If they’re good at getting into a position, they die horribly. If they’re hard to kill, they take a long time to get to places. Use your skills at 3 card monte, bait and switch your units around, and put your beatsticks where they need to be, and you’ll tend to find a quick victory and then leaf the opponent behind!
Challenge Rating: 4. This faction suffers from everything being dictated by the placement of terrain. If you can’t deploy your terrain well, you do poorly. Your units tend to lose fights when not on terrain, and you have a lot of movement tricks which makes the game require a lot more planning to see all the options.
Beasts of Chaos: Maximum Fast Board Control
Beasts are the fastest army in AoS. They can get to anywhere they need to, with little to no luck involved. Much of the basic infantry are high speed and can run and charge, which is rare in AoS, and often have pile in and speed boosts at the ready. This means that your large blocks of angry goats can often see combat on the top of turn one, and will do some serious damage. In addition you have the ability to set units off to the side to come in as an outflank. This forces your opponent to push his models outward to deny them a side or rear attack, which just opens the center for your rampaging hordes. Your main mechanic is that you can sacrifice models on a stone in order to summon more models, which is pretty brutal as things go. The magic rock also radiates a wall of magic that makes your dudes immune to running away, and strips armor off of the other guy’s dudes. This is important, because your goats tend to not have much armor, so you’re really just leveling the playing field. Your bigger guys hit like a freight train, but with the accuracy of a freight train, so they tend to be very spiky. Your faction’s biggest weakness is the really big monsters in it tend to be subpar and your units get killed like a gerbil in a speed bag filled with broken glass. Your summoning is okay, but costly, and requires a hero to hang back. Your spell lores are all very powerful and do some really unique effects, and your heroes, while not super powerful, cost very little. If you are able to leverage that speed the game hands you for free, and use some good horns of the bull tactics, you’re going to have plenty of captives to sacrifice on your dark alter.
Challenge Rating: 2. This faction has very few core special rules to consider, but those they have only apply to certain models, leading to more things to remember. Your units also tend to have very few special rules on their warscrolls, meaning they basically just are piles of stats doing things. The heroes have some strong support effects, so pay attention there. Their real challenge is knowing when and where to fight and summon. If you do it well it can be oppressively powerful.
Blades of Khorne: The biggest hammer, looking for a nail.
Blades of Khorne have a deceptively subtle playstyle. They obviously want to be in combat, killing other dudes, and letting your dudes die, so they can turn into giant demons, but they also have some of the strongest buff game in AoS, and some really cool control elements. Their big gimmick, as I’ve touched on, is that when units die, you get money to spend on big buffs, or summoning demons. Your units are all good, and many of them have fun proccing effects on rolling 6s, which is really fun to play with. You have some very powerful support prayers, which are not spells, and if you say they are you’re getting an axe to the forehead. You can make units really hard to kill, make them really killy, or make it so when they die they fight and kill more guys. Your biggest strength is that once you’re stuck in, every unit in your army is good at killing things, and most will stick around, either by weight of bodies or being actually tough. The downside is you really lack power projection. You need to keep your units near their support heroes, and those support heroes need to play in the back field, or they tend to fail their prayer rolls. This, coupled with a fairly low movement across the board, and limited ranged options, means you’re going to take some punishment before your main force gets into combat. That said, you have some tricks to slingshot a unit like 30 inches, so there’s some option for tying down some of the opponent’s firepower. If you can keep your eyes focused on the real targets, and not just rampage off in the name of the blood god, you’ll probably be able to do a lot of damage, and take a lot of wins.
Challenge Rating: 3. You have a small amount of limited use abilities, and your faction’s core mechanic is fairly hard to wrap your head around for a newer player. You have a very tight positioning game, and if you don’t play that well, you’re going to be in trouble.
Disciples of Tzeentch: Make your opponent mad, and then set him on fire.
Tzeentch has one of the most interesting mechanics in the game. You get to pre-roll some of your dice, and keep those for later. Sometimes cool things happen to let you add more dice to that pool, and because you can spend those dice on a lot of things, you can basically cheat the system and never fail. Your units are all fairly solid. They typically have some form of ranged attack, and deal lots of damage with them. In combat you have a handful of dedicated melee units that deal some really bonkers damage, but suffer from not being able to throw fireballs at people. Your magic is one of the best in the game, with your big monsters able to sling more magic than some gods, and the magic you get does more damage than any other magic out there, which is sweet. You have some cool positioning tools, and the ability to summon models using money you get by casting spells that you wanted to cast anyway, so that’s pretty cool. You also have units of models that die, turning into other models who then die and turn into more models, which is nice. Your other neat trick is picking an evil scheme every turn to try and do, and when you do, you get a bonus. Your biggest weakness is combat. You have a few dedicated combat units, as I have said, but they don’t puch half as hard as some of the higher end combat units. You also have some staying power issues, aside from a select few units. Lastly your units are not cheap, so you’ll often be outnumbered on the board, so you’ll have to play a lot of careful and well planned out games to take some wins. With that in mind, just come up with a plan for your game, and a plan for when that fails, and a plan for when that fails in a different way, and you’re going to take the win. Just as planned.
Challenge Rating: 5. This faction has a lot of magic, a lot of support effects, a lot of auras, a lot of once per game abilities, and every unit has a half dozen special rules on profile. You have a lot to keep track of. Everything you forget or do incorrectly makes your army magnitudes weaker, so watch out for it.
Hedonites of Slaanesh: Fast, squishy blenders on two legs, or more.
Slaanesh is the poster child of the glass cannon. They hit insanely hard, and do insane damage, and those hits sometimes explode into more hits, which is just fun. They tend to roll a lot of dice, and have a fairly large number of models. Your big trick is the fact that your demons are so oddly attractive that you can gesture at someone and they just forget they’re supposed to be fighting, and so go last. This is one of the single best abilities in the game, and will continue to be for a very long time. It is designed to offset your faction’s weakness of being made of glass, so you die fairly quickly. Your other big gimmick is the big demons can point at an enemy hero and say “hey, wanna be all powerful?” If they say yes, they get to be really powerful for a turn. And then die. Horribly. If they say no? Well you get to deal some damage to them, free of charge. Your last big trick is when your heroes do damage that doesn’t kill someone, or takes damage that doesn’t kill them, you get some summoning money, which means all of your demonic characters come with a ⅓ discount, because you can bring them back! Your spell lore is aggressively okay, but most of the models you’ll want to run are wizards, so it works out. The biggest weakness to the faction is ranged damage. If someone can keep you at arm’s length, despite your extreme speed, you are going to have a bad time. You also have much fewer options than your demonic brothers and sisters, probably because their god isn’t tied up in an aelven prison being milked for souls day and night. Not that they mind all that much. You will live fast, die young, leave a great looking corpse, and it will probably be their corpse! Lean into this style of play, and you’ll go far.
Challenge Rating: 4. This faction is all centered around their heroes positions, and if that’s out of place, it falls apart. If you fail to break someone before they go, you die. You need to also keep track of your many spells, and make sure you understand how Depravity Points work and are accrued, because that’s the star of your show.
Maggotkin of Nurgle: Attrition Defined.
Nurgle is durable. Say that five times fast. You now know all you need to know about the Maggotkin. Every model in this faction either has multiple wounds, some way to prevent or reduce damage, or both! It takes a lot of effort to put any number of them into the ground. Their summoning is unique amongst chaos in that it’s all about controlling the table, rather than murdering your opponent, or your own guys. Depending on where you are and your opponent is, you get progressively more summoning money, which you can either invest to summon models that give you summoning money, or you can just summon dudes to kill people with. Your army isn’t all that fast, but has a handful of fast models that get places and do things with little help needed, and you have the option to summon in trees that make models faster near them, so you’ve got places to be. Your main mechanic is very random. You roll to see what season it is, and every turn the season progresses one step. Every season does something small, but impactful, and ranges from healing your dudes, making them harder to kill, or killing your opponents dudes. Your biggest weakness is damage. Your models don’t do very much damage, and you have very few offensive buffs in faction. Your very big demons can put the hurt on someone, but other than that you’re a grinding faction. You will slowly whittle away at your opponent until they fall over, while taking very little loss in return. The problem comes in when you bump into another brick wall, or someone who hits very very hard, so hard they can overcome your defenses. The solution to this is to take the handful of offensive buffs there are, and hope it’s enough. All that said, push up quickly, take strong positioning, make sure you’re farming enough points for grandpa, and he’ll make sure you get all the lovely plagues you want for christmas. Grind your opponent down and reap them like corn, we’ve got a garden to tend.
Challenge Rating: 1. You have a handful of special rules, and a decent amount to keep track of, but a lot of the game is going to be pushing models forward and rolling dice. You don’t break many rules of the game, aside from the occasional run and charge buff, so you play a simple game and win a simple prize.
Skaven: Unending units, and the control to run them.
Skaven are another board denial faction. Or rather, the signature board denial faction. Between cheap chaff units, powerful ranged weapons, strong control spells, and lots of ways to make your models immune to battleshock, you’re going to put lots of models on an objective, and then stay there until your opponents are sad. Your major gimmick is that if you have big units, they are better, as you just crush people under the weight of bodies. This rule is great, but not what defines the faction. The faction’s biggest strength is that it’s actually 5 normally sized AoS armies that they’ve pushed into a single book, meaning you not only have as much choice as the largest AoS factions, but each one is very different, giving you wide options. This is awesome. Your models are all very good at their one job, and pretty much useless at anything else, making you the ultimate toolbox faction. You have some teleport options for positioning, and your models tend to be a little on the fast side of the line. You also have access to a very strong lore of magic, and a slightly less strong group of prayers. Your weakness is your bravery being very weak, but you have many ways around that. Your big worry is losing your support elements, but they have ways to protect themselves. Your faction is strong, and if I had to assign a single weakness it’s the fact that there are just units in the game that can kill 40 buffed ratmen in a single turn, meaning your ability to tarpit those units is limited. That said, put them in a box of magic spells, and then force feed them rats until the end of the game, and you’ll end up kill-slaying all the weakling-fools.
Challenge Rating: 4. This faction has a lot of special rules that are complex, often once per game, and very powerful. If you don’t use them well, your units are bad. If you use them well, you still might lose your own models to your abilities. You also violate a lot of rules of the game, many units being able to retreat and charge and a lot of your shooting just being magic with a different name.
Slaves to Darkness: Better than average units, with powerful synergy buffs.
The main gimmick to this faction is straight forward, but has a lot of cool interactions. Firstly, all your characters make units around them better, as long as they follow the same god. Secondly your general makes those units even better. Thirdly, you can mix and match gods to give your units specific rolls on the table. This couples really well with the fact that every unit in the faction has a very solid statblock, and is good at multiple rolls. A unit of chaos warriors with mark of khorne and halberds are much more dangerous than a unit with nurgle and hand weapons, but the latter unit is much harder to remove. Add in the fact you have some of the strongest buffs in the game, and some of the best debuffs in the game, and your very average units become very powerful. You have access to a teleport, as well as some really rather fast units, and marauders will on average make a 10 inch charge with little issue, meaning you can sprint them at the opponent and bury them in angry northmen. The other big strength of the faction is that dropping the everchosen on someone’s head tends to kill them, so you have that in your back pocket. Your biggest weakness is the lack of any unit that is truly exceptional at a given task, and your big monsters aren’t really that great. Because of this your insanely powerful buffs don’t do as much as they would on a much more powerful baseline model. That said, put on some chaos armor, play some metal music, and walk boldly into the ranks of your foes. Cowardice has no place on the Path to Glory.
Challenge Rating: 3. Your army has some of the most special rules to keep track of, and it all radiates from the heroes. Most units themselves only have one or two things to track, hence them not being a higher CR. The magic and prayers are limited to a handful of models, and your only really hard thing to keep track of is eye of the gods rolls.
Death and Destruction Factions moved to comments for length of post. Please Stand By.
